How does your Post Frame Builder measure up with Pacemaker?
1. Does your builder have an established business address and office? An
established business indicates a commitment to your FUTURE needs.
2. Does your builder have adequate liability and builder's risk insurance? Your builder's failure to have proper insurance coverage for buildings under construction could mean the customer is liable for wind damage to partly constructed buildings, material theft, property damage and personal injury. Ask your builder for Proof of Insurance. 3. Does your builder construct buildings with his own employees and equipment? Company owned equipment and work force assures the customer of better construction CONTROL. When you pay for a "Material Package" who cares about material shortages or how the building is constructed? 4. Does your builder provide Workman's Compensation and Health Insurance for employees? Failure to have insurance could mean extra cost to the customer for injuries on his job. 5. Does your builder use Quality Materials, such as roof trusses that are labeled by the manufacturer, posts that are properly treated and stamped by the treating company and good quality, grade stamped lumber? 6. Is your builder a "professional" in constructing Post Frame Buildings or is his expertise in other types of construction? 7. Does your builder belong to the National Frame Builder's Association? Active membership in the N.F.B.A. assures the customer that his builder uses "Approved Standards of Construction" and "Code of Ethics". Pacemaker can answer all these questions with a definite YES! --Can your builder?[ Back ] |
